Three generations of real estate in Hampton Roads.
Clarence "Curly" Byler began building homes in Virginia Beach after serving in the Air Force. His work included the Larkspur neighborhood in Kempsville. In 1964, he incorporated Tidewater Investment Co. to hold what he was building.
Today his daughter, Kathryn N. Byler, and the next generation continue the family business. Byler Enterprises is the public name for that work.
